DO I NEED TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT?

Yes. We are a small boutique and each appointment closes the doors for you and your guests for a completely private shopping experience. We never have more than one bride in the store at a time. Bridal gown appointments are 1.5 hours while accessory appointments are 45 minutes, both offer boutique exclusivity.

Accessory appointments are offered Monday-Friday during normal business hours and require an appointment.

We ask no more than 4 guests accompany you to insure comfortable seating. A credit card is taken at the time of booking, but there is no charge for your bridal gown appointment. There is a $50 fee should you cancel, no show or reschedule within 48 hours of your appointment time. We ask any cancellations or reschedules are done 48 hours prior to your appointment time.

WHere are you located?

Our boutique is courtyard facing on the McCaffrey’s side of the Princeton Shopping Center. We recommend parking near the soon to open Starbucks and Nomad Pizza. Once you make your way to the courtyard we are on the right.

WHAT ARE YOUR GOWN PRICES?

Our bridal gown prices range from about $2000 to approximately $10,000+ depending on customizations. We make sure to be very mindful of the budget you provide at the time of booking. You can also view starting prices for each designer on our Wedding Dresses page.

What are your gown sizes?

Our gown sample sizes range 8-12 and vary by designer, however we can order gowns for brides in every size. With years of experience we can accommodate sizes above and below our sample sizes during your appointment. If you have a question or concern regarding sizing ahead of your appointment, please reach out!

WHEN SHOULD I PURCHASE MY GOWN?

We recommend purchasing your gown at least 7-10 months prior to your wedding date. Gowns can take a minimum of 5-7 months to arrive and we recommend alterations are done 2 months before your wedding date. For such a special purchase, we suggest beginning the process earlier to avoid rush fees, and to be ready for busy alterations season. For brides with a short timeline, please inquire about rush orders or sample sales. Our sample gown sizes range between bridal 8-12, and vary by designer.

WHO SHOULD I BRING? WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

Princeton Bridal is a small intimate boutique with enough comfortable seating for 4 guests. We hope you bring your most trusted guests to help you make your gown decision stress free. We kindly ask children are left at home as there are fragile, and some dangerous, accessory items on display. Please no outside food or drinks besides water to protect our sample gowns, which will find their bride one day!

Please wear undergarments you think you may wear on your wedding day. This can range from a strapless bra to stick on bras for those low back gowns, or we can provide cup inserts upon request as well. We ask undergarments are worn throughout your appointment as a bridal consultant will be assisting you in and out of our dresses.

HOW IS PAYMENT TAKEN FOR GOWN OR ACCESSORY PURCHASES?

Special order gowns and accessories require payment in full or a 60% deposit and remaining 40% paid at time of pick up. Sample gown and accessory purchases require full payment at time of check out and you get to take your items home that day! As an intimate boutique with limited space, Princeton Bridal does not provide storage. All sales are final, no cancellations, exchanges, credits or refunds.

WHEN CAN I PICK UP MY GOWN?

Our second favorite part after finding you your dream wedding gown, is calling you to say it has arrived! Once your bridal gown arrives we notify you within 24 hours and must be picked up within 14 calendar days of notification. Bridal gown and accessory pick ups are Monday-Friday by appointment. If you are picking up your bridal gown we make sure there is enough time to try it on and purchase any accessories we may have forgotten. If you are picking up an accessory we make sure there is enough time to check the items, but do expect a shorter appointment time. All balances are due at time of pick up and must be paid in full. Princeton Bridal does not provide storage.

DO YOU OFFER ALTERATIONS?

Almost every gown will need alterations. Even special order gowns may need adjustments. Typical alterations may include a hem, bustle, taking in/out the sides or sewing in cups. We make sure to go over alteration recommendations at the time of pick up, or at the time of purchase if you are buying a sample gown off the rack. Princeton Bridal offers in house alterations for brides that have purchased their gowns in our boutique. She is an independent seamstress available on Wednesdays right here in the boutique so we can guide you along the way! Ultimately you can work with any seamstress of your choice, and we can also provide a list of recommended and trusted seamstresses in our area. If you live far away, we will do our best to find you options closer to home.

WHAT IS A TRUNK SHOW?

A trunk show is an opportunity for Princeton Bridal to host additional gowns, or accessories, from a designer’s collection. During a trunk show we can preview and try on dresses that visit us for one or two weekends only. Please see our Events page for up to date trunk show dates. We will do our best to make sure requested gowns are available for try on. Make sure to book your appointment quickly as the time allotted with these gowns is limited. Discounts and promotions may be offered by the designer and can only be applied during trunk show dates.
